Former&Latter Rains

             I see many do not have a conviction that holy spirit is not dwelling in their hearts, present pentecost people have projected indwelling of holy spirit in christendom as only if people shouts or show some weird reaction when they pray, which is not true. ofcourse manifestation of holyspirit can be seen. the bible says in Eph1:13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise. which precisely shows that we are sealed with Holy Spirit when we believe and accept jesus as lord. so why are we not able to yield more? its

• Disobedience
• Acknowledgment of sins

1.obedience is an act of worshipping the lord besides we sing, play music and worship which is greater than of all.

Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me- Exod19:5 -NLT. on contrary to this is disobedience,so when we disobey we obviously ending up in sinning against lord.

For as by the one man's Adam's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's Christ'sobedience the many will be made righteous.Rom5:19.

2. acknowledgment of our sins

Hosea5:15 “I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence and seek my face .kjv-2000. but we do not accept the mistakes, rather we give excuses and reasoning.if we want to protect or show as righteouss before men we can give numerous justification to defend us, But the lord says us to acknowledge the mistakes we have done, so that he can pour out the former and latter rains in our life,

Hosea6:3- Let us know, let us press on to know the LORD; his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.KJV-2000)

 the former rain will come to soften the land as the field will become easy to plough and then later the latter rain will come , so that the matured plants can bear fruits, similarly when we acknowledge our sins ,lord will pour out the former and latter anointing in our life to edify us and bear fruits, when former anointing fill us, our heart will be soften (Ezekiel36:25-27) and when we grow little bit as we learn to walk , the latter anointing will fill us to bear fruits in our life. Be ready to receive both rains in our life, Be blessed!!!!!
